STUDENT SAFETY DURING DEMONSTRATIONS

As we get ready for this Friday's demonstration, please remember that safety is our number one priority. We anticipate a larger crowd than last week's demonstration. The buzz is out, so we might see organized parent demonstrations and organized student demonstrations. It is important that teachers are NOT passing out flyers to cars this week. We would not want students to follow that lead. However, we may pass out flyers to community members walking by. While out there, student safety is our number one concern. Let us work together to keep an eye out for students. Can't wait til Friday!

Wow! EDMS must be doing something right, seeing that you are expecting student and parent demonstrations. I applaud that Pink Friday is every Friday for EDMS. Keep up the good work!

Thanks Concerned Community Member! What we are doing is working together. Everyone pitches in. Be sure to drive by or stop by on Fridays. Also, thanks for following our blog.

Good Idea!! As long as the cars are not on district property and their location does not put our students in danger - then we can approach them.

Safety is OK! And should always be of utmost importance during our demonstrations! Always! I say yes to safety!

I've decided to hit the Westwood crowd tomorrow morning. We need to make sure that we are getting maximum exposure. Quite a few parents walk with their kids onto the WW campus and we would be able to meet and talk to them. I'd like to grab some of our crew for this effort. When their bell rings we'll join the rest of the Concord Blvd. crowd. What do you all think?
